Confined water dives (confined open water or swimming pool):

We use a private pool located onsite at our Intern House and confined open water ocean dives

Open water dive conditions:

We have warm water temperatures of approximately 26ºC-29ºC. Visibility is usually 30 m or more. Boat and shore dives with moderate to strong currents.

Classroom details:

We have a fully furnished air-conditioned classroom equipped with whiteboards, TV, Blue Ray player, and high-speed internet. We also use an open-air classroom in our beach area. We use and teach from the latest PADI digital products and materials. All interns have access to a laptop computer as necessary

Things to see on fun dives:

Cozumel has a healthy coral reef with all the usual Caribbean species plus turtles, nurse sharks, eagle rays and of course the Cozumel Splendid Toad Fish.

As a Project Aware 100% Partner, we actively encourage our professional candidates to engage in all Project AWARE Courses, including Coral Reef Conservation, Project AWARE Specialist, Dive Against Debris, Aware Fish ID, and Shark Awareness and Conservation.

Our courses are Internships; we include our Candidates as part of the CDA Team. You will be involved in every aspect of daily operations, boat and dive logistics, student training, paperwork, and administrative procedures. We provide the most thorough training possible to prepare for your career in the dive industry.

How to get to the SCUBA diving center from the airport:

We will pick you up upon arrival to Cozumel. Daily transportation will be provided from our Intern House to dive site each morning. Bicycles are also provided for use at no charge.
